A Tradition of Hope

A Message from Our Co-Chairs, Elizabeth Anderson & Vanessa Fuquay, and Honorary Chairs, Clayton & Lacy Sands, for Trains at NorthPark 2025
We are thrilled to serve as co-chairs for the 2025 Trains at NorthPark benefiting Ronald McDonald House of Dallas (RMHD), presented by Bank of Texas. We are working hard in partnership with staff and Host Committee members to make this the best year yet as we prepare to have another amazing location on Level One of NorthPark Center.
For 38 years, Trains has been a cornerstone event for RMHD, captivating the hearts and imaginations of children and families throughout our community. Since returning to full operations post-pandemic last spring, the House that LOVE built has been busier than ever, offering its FREE lodging, meals, transportation, and other services to an average of 70+ families every day. RMHD has set a goal of $1.1M to raise from this year’s exhibit to ensure its ability to meet the growing demand for its critical and quality provision of HOPE and a HOME-AWAY-FROM-HOME that so many depend on.
Join us in this joyous tradition and help spread the word about this incredible event that offers opportunities for families in our D/FW community to support those families from around the state, country, and world traveling to Dallas for critical medical care for their sick or injured child(ren). Your support, whether as a guest, a volunteer, or a sponsor, makes a vital difference in the lives of many.
We look forward to seeing you over the holiday season in support of this worthy cause!

Thank you for your support of the House that LOVE built in Dallas!

Choo-Choo Tales
Through a first-time collaboration with Dallas Children’s Theater (DCT) and Booker T. Washington High School’s Theatre Conservatory, Ronald McDonald House of Dallas debuts Choo-Choo Tales, a live storytelling series. From November 15 through Christmas Eve, NorthPark hosts free performances of “Flora and the Train”, directed byDCT’s Artistic Director, Emily Ernst, and written by Esau Price, a recent graduate of Booker T. Washington HS, will take place Dec 2, 9, 16 and 23 at 11am.

Art on the Rails
We’re thrilled to host our inaugural Art on the Rails, featuring a stunning, one-of-a-kind fully painted train created by renowned artist JD Miller of Samuel Lynne Galleries. This unique and collectible fine art train is inspired by Miller’s signature Reflectionism style, is being auctioned (link here) to benefit Ronald McDonald House of Dallas. The piece may also be purchased at a special “buy out” price. Proceeds from Art on the Rails directly supports RMHD’s mission to provide essential services that remove barriers, strengthen families, and promote healing when children need healthcare.

Sensory Friendly Hours, Presented by Children’s Health
Ronald McDonald House of Dallas is proud to offer Sensory Friendly Hours at The Trains at NorthPark, made possible through the generous support of Children’s Health. These dedicated sessions will take place Wednesday evenings and Sunday afternoons during the seven-week run of the exhibit, offering a quieter, sensory-friendly environment. Experience the holiday magic of the Trains at NorthPark with ease, inclusion, and joy.

An Iconic Tradition
TRAINS AT NORTHPARK is a unique, beloved, and visually stunning holiday exhibition featuring a fascinating array of miniature trains rolling across 1,600 feet of track on a journey through Dallas and America’s most iconic cityscapes.
